Information Security Officer

Your challenge

The Information Security Officer is responsible for protecting the information assets and infrastructure of Parklane Insights & TriFinance Companies from malicious intervention and unconscious employee behavior. You will proactively develop a security strategy, choose an IT security standard (ISO27000, NIST, COBIT....) and implement comprehensive solutions to secure our computing network, including perform risk assessment and penetration tests.

Currently, the application landscape consists of stand-alone applications that lead to a bad end-user experience and inconsistent security levels. The objective is to transition to a service-based, integrated, and secure platform including device management. You are expected to create and deliver policies, work instructions, and solutions to achieve this objective. You will collaborate with technology and business colleagues to ensure a highly performing & secure IT platform. Additionally, you will create a knowledge and awareness base to prevent social hacks and ensure secure-by-design applications and infrastructures.

Your profile

You are an experienced information security professional with 5-10 years of proven success with a degree in computer science (or technology-related field). A professional Information Security Certification is an advantage. You are skilled in identifying and preventing security threats, and able to implement practical solutions to safeguard the company and its assets.

• You have a solid knowledge of various information security frameworks
• Strong communicator who educates the workforce on the importance of information security, while also supporting the company's overall performance
• Keen understanding of the business and security landscape which helps you develop and execute a roadmap for mitigating existing and potential security challenges
• A team player who collaborates effectively with others and inspire them to embrace secure technologies
• Continuously seek to raise the standard of work and have a knack for building relationships and influencing others
• Possess excellent organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as a vision for the future
• Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Dutch, French, and/or German is a big advantage
