Client Code of Conduct
Introduction
The Client acknowledges and agrees to comply with the TriFinance Code of Conduct, as amended from time to time and made available to the Client. The Code of Conduct forms an integral part of the commercial agreement between the Client and TriFinance (the Agreement).
At TriFinance, we are committed to conducting business with integrity, fairness, and respect for all individuals. When working with our consultants, we expect clients and subcontractors to uphold the same ethical standards and contribute to a professional and inclusive working environment. The following principles outline our expectations for client behavior throughout any engagement:
1. Respectful and fair treatment
Clients must treat all consultants with dignity, professionalism, and fairness at all times. Discrimination of any kind—based on race, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other protected characteristic—is strictly prohibited. We expect clients to foster an environment where everyone is valued and respected.
2. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Clients are expected to support diversity, equity, and inclusion in all interactions with our consultants. This includes promoting equal opportunity, acknowledging different perspectives, and creating a space where every individual feels safe, heard, and empowered to contribute.
3. Safe and harassment-free workplace
Clients must ensure a safe and respectful workplace, free from any form of harassment, bullying, or abuse—whether verbal, physical, psychological, or sexual. Any behavior that creates a hostile or intimidating atmosphere for our consultants is unacceptable.
4. Professional conduct and integrity
Clients are expected to engage with our consultants ethically and transparently. Business interactions should be conducted honestly and without pressure, manipulation, or misconduct. Clients cannot request or expect consultants to engage in unethical, illegal, or deceptive practices and must never be placed in situations that compromise their professional integrity or judgment.
5. Avoidance of conflicts of interest
Clients should avoid situations that may present a conflict of interest or that could undermine objective decision-making. Any potential conflicts involving our consultants or firm must be disclosed promptly.
6. No gifts or inappropriate influence
Clients must not offer gifts, favors, or hospitality to our consultants with the intent to influence decisions or gain special treatment. Any gestures of goodwill should be modest, infrequent, and aligned with ethical business standards. Under no circumstances should gifts be offered to public officials on behalf of our firm without prior written approval.
7. Commitment to a positive work relationship
Clients should promote constructive, collaborative communication and contribute to a positive and respectful working relationship with our consultants. Feedback should be professional, solutions-focused, and delivered in a way that supports mutual growth and success.
8. Reporting concerns & conflict resolution
If conflicts arise, we are committed to resolving them constructively and fairly.
- Raise concerns in a respectful and solution-oriented manner.
- Work with us in good faith to resolve disputes through appropriate channels.
9. Breach of Conduct
Any non-compliance shall be deemed a material breach of the Agreement and may result in corrective measures, suspension, or termination, without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available under this Agreement or applicable law.
By engaging with TriFinance, you acknowledge and agree to uphold the principles outlined in this Code of Conduct.
