- By putting employees first for 21 years, TriFinance is a company unlike any other
- On Friday May 12, we will gather with everyone from the company for an exciting day and night ‘Beyond The Beaten Tracks’ of Amsterdam
- May 12 will also mark our shared goodbye to TriFinance’s founder Gert Smit, who is stepping down as chairman of the board
TriFinance has always been a family business that likes to do things differently. Since 2002, we've been putting our employees first, and that's something we're proud of. So, it's time to celebrate! On Friday May 12, we're sharing this enormous milestone with all employees during an exceptional day and night in Amsterdam ー the city of our headquarters. It’s also a key turning point for our founder, Gert Smit, who turns to the next generations in line by stepping down as chairman of the board.
Why 21 years?
Well, we're not the ones to follow convention, and hitting the 21-year mark is uniquely special. It is a milestone of maturity. We've improved our skills and expertise to better serve our employees and subsequently our clients, on our own terms. This anniversary provides the perfect opportunity to reflect on our journey so far, and get excited about what the future holds.

All Me inc.’ers invited
At TriFinance, everyone is a Me inc.’er: someone who is an entrepreneur of his own talent, skills and career. Someone who is eager to learn, driven by intrinsic motivation, yet can also participate in a coaching network environment. As a Me inc.’er, you support your clients, while supporting yourself too ー by growing yourself. It is a mindset that has driven our company’s development through the years. Needless to say, it is for obvious reasons that we invited every single Me inc.’er to join our company’s 21st anniversary. On Friday May 12, we are out of office to celebrate our successes with everyone who believes in our ambition: changing the way we do our work.

Gert’s goodbye: a celebration of commitment
On May 12, we will also share a special moment together with all Me inc.’ers from four different countries. Gert Smit, our inspirational founder and chairman, is stepping down as an active member of the board. As Gert would typically celebrate this moment, signing off at the end of a 50+ years career, that is exactly what we will do. By saying goodbye to Gert, May 12 will also be about taking a trip down memory lane, and exploring how much TriFinance has grown in bringing our philosophy to life over the years.
On May 12, we go ‘Beyond the Beaten Tracks’
It all boils down to an unmistakable observation: by putting employees first, and customers second, we do things our own way. We go beyond the beaten tracks in the world of consulting. It’s the guiding principle of our event on May 12 in Amsterdam, that will take all employees beyond the beaten tracks of this buzzing city. We have got a day and night prepared that’s filled with discovering routes and canals beyond the beaten tourist tracks, tasting food beyond the beaten culinary tracks, and enjoying an exceptional party beyond the ‘beaten' tracks. That is how we like to thank everyone at TriFinance for practicing what we preach. Putting employees first.
