As Manager Finance & Accounting at Tradin are you responsible for financial accounting, compliance, and support the financial affairs of the organization. Furthermore, you will assist with preparation of financial analyses of operations, including interim financial schedules and internal reporting, for the guidance of management.

 

The Manager Finance & Accounting leads the accounting team of 8 FTE consisting of GL accountants and the AR/AP department.  

What you are going to do

In this position, you coordinate and execute the monthly closing process and closing journal entries of the Dutch entities.

You will oversee the accounts receivable, cash receipts and accounts payable functions, providing assistance to Directors and other team members in the reviewing operations and handling any other ad-hoc reports and requests.

Additionally, you will assist in budgeting and periodic analysis of department overhead expenses.

 

You are responsible for the analytical review of the reconciliation of all material balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. Furthermore, you will maintain financial security by researching and reconciling discrepancies, auditing and verifying documents, and following the internal controls.

As the leader of the accounting team, you coach and motivate your team for their personal and professional growth.

 

Furthermore, but not limited to:

•  Coordinate periodic Tax declarations, including VAT and payroll tax

•   Coordinate and oversee the preparation of year-end audit working papers including assets, liabilities, revenues and expenditures

•  Coordinate the preparation of the annual reports

•  Work closely with the external- and internal audit team ensuring all necessary critical information is available to them

•  Keeping manuals up to date regarding documenting accounting procedures and policies including database, and other financial processes

•  Assist with setup and administrative organization of newly acquired companies

•  Monitor reserve accounts and investments, and review bank statements

•  Stay current with all regulations, practices, tax laws, reporting requirements and industry trends

• Responsible for maintaining financial settings in ERP system and Hyperion HFM

Wie we zoeken voor deze vacature

●     As Manager Finance & Accounting you have a strong background in financial administration, demonstrated by your ability to oversee month-end closing, timely reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning.

●     Your expertise in group reporting and various internal and external shareholder reporting is essential, as is your commitment to continuously improving and automating finance processes.

●     In this leadership role, you will bring solid experience in team management as you lead and inspire our accounting team. Additionally, you should be able to collaborate effectively across departments, contributing to our organization's continued growth and financial stability.

●     Degree in Finance or Accounting

●     5 Years of experience as an Accounting Manager in an international (multicurrency) environment

●     Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accepted accounting rules, practices, tax laws, and reporting requirements

●     Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization

●     Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

●     Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently

●     High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts

●     Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines

●     Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills

●     Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures

●     Attention to detail in all areas of work

●     Fully proficient in English and Dutch. Command of another European language is a plus
