Imagine walking into a finance department on a Monday morning. Spreadsheets everywhere. Reports that don’t match. Data coming from five different systems: none of them speaking the same language. Controllers spending more time fixing errors than analyzing insights. Management asking for forecasts that the team can’t produce fast enough. Regulations piling up. And everyone knows the truth: The company has the data… but not the ability to use it.
Now imagine being the person who changes that. That’s what we do in Data & Reporting at TriFinance.
We help organizations turn fragmented data into reliable insights, automate reporting, and set up future‑proof planning processes. We build the foundations that allow Finance to evolve from scorekeeper to strategic business partner.
What we do: turning data into decisions
Most companies don’t suffer from a lack of data: they suffer from a lack of structure, integration, and ownership. Our mission is simple:
We help clients turn their data into managerial and regulatory reporting they can trust and act on.
We do this across four interconnected domains:
1. Data Engineering
We connect data from different systems, design the reporting architecture, build data lakes and warehouses, and create the pipelines that make reporting possible.
2. BI & Analytics
We transform raw data into reporting models and dashboards using tools like Power BI. We help clients move from descriptive reporting to diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive insights.
3. EPM/CPM
We implement planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions (Vena, Aimplan, Tagetik). We help clients move away from spreadsheet chaos toward integrated, collaborative FP&A processes.
4. Consolidation & ESG Reporting
We support statutory consolidation, ESG reporting, and the growing regulatory complexity Finance must navigate. We ensure the data behind these reports is reliable, governed, and audit‑ready.
Together, these capabilities allow us to support the entire information flow: from data source to strategic report.
The types of questions clients bring us
Every mission starts with a struggle:
- “Our reports don’t match.”
- “We spend days cleaning data instead of analyzing it.”
- “We want to automate our reporting but don’t know where to start.”
- “Our planning process is too slow and too manual.”
- “We need a single source of truth.”
- “How do we take ownership of our data?”
And you’re the one who helps them find clarity.
A mission that shows the impact: The Macadam Story
One of our favorite examples is Macadam, an international company that came to us after an ERP transformation. Our Business Integration team helped them stabilize their ERP. Then our Data & Reporting team stepped in.
We:
- built a modern data lakehouse
- created a full BI environment
- designed Power BI dashboards for management
- implemented Vena to support planning and budgeting
- integrated everything into one coherent performance management ecosystem
The result?
A company that finally had one version of the truth, automated reporting, and a planning process that supported growth instead of slowing it down. This is the kind of end‑to‑end impact you get to create here.
How you grow with us
As a junior
You start as an executor: building data models, dashboards, pipelines, or planning templates.
You learn the tools, the logic, the functional context.
As you grow
You take on:
- more complex designs
- client communication
- training and coaching of colleagues and customers
- ownership of projects & deliverables
- pre sales activities
As a senior
You guide projects, coach juniors, and combine multiple expertise areas.
You become the architect, the advisor, the trusted partner.
What candidates often misunderstand
They think this domain is purely technical. It’s not.
It’s about understanding what information a business needs to steer, and then building the data foundations and reporting models that make that possible.
Technology is the tool. Insight is the goal.
Why this line of service is a great place to accelerate your Finance career
Because you learn how Finance really works: not just the numbers, but the systems, the processes, the data flows, and the decisions behind them.
You become the person who:
- Understands the business
- Understands the data
- Understands the technology
- And can connect all three
What we love most about leading this practice
Watching people grow. Seeing someone who started building simple Power BI reports evolve into someone who designs data architectures, implements EPM solutions, or leads complex reporting transformations.
Seeing the team expand its capabilities: from reporting to data engineering to advanced analytics to ESG.
Seeing people build together, share knowledge, and push each other forward. That’s what makes this practice special.
