Sara, Project Consultant at TriFinance

Last year, Sara embarked on a new project as Project Manager. While this was unusual for someone with her level of experience in GL, it turned out to be a perfect match. In her role as Junior Project Manager working with a major pharmaceutical client, she has enjoyed unprecedented professional growth.

Together with the client's Finance Manager, Sara is overseeing the Organizational Readiness component for implementing a financial reporting tool. Her job? To make sure the business is ready to go live! Did everyone get the proper training? Is everyone up to speed with the new way of working? Is there anything that still needs fixing or checking? Sara is in her element! Something the client also picked up on, because they have already asked whether Sara can continue working on the project after it’s gone live. Naturally, she was only too happy to accept!

Too soon for a 10/10? Not for Sara.

How did Sara become a Project Manager?

Sara's TriFinance story begins as an AP team member for a client in the Automotive industry. Initially, her tasks involved processing a large backlog and providing support to the AP team. Over time, she took on more responsibility, considerably broadening her skill set. So much so that she was all set to accept a GL position at a major cookie manufacturer. Many thousands of cookies later, she even traveled to the States to integrate GL tasks into the Shared Service Center! Upon her return to Belgium, she accepted a new challenge as Project Manager.

  • As a consultant, do I have to cover a great travel distance on a daily basis?

    As a consultant at TriFinance, you can work in the region of your choice or from the nearest TriFinance office. Together with our clients, we strive for a hybrid working situation.

  • Do I have a say in the projects I do?

    The projects proposed to you are in line with your current knowledge, skills and ambitions. Together with our internal team you decide which projects are the best match for you.

  • What if I don’t have the required skills yet for a project that interests me?

    If you lack certain skills for a project, TriFinance will provide the necessary training and a skilled mentor to guide you through your project.

  • What kind of guidance can I expect?

    We map your current knowledge and skills with the help of in-house tools. This is the starting point of your personal development plan and forms the basis we need to offer you projects and guidance in line with your ambitions. In addition, you receive guidance from our internal team (BaseCamp) your fellow consultants and a Career Coach.

  • Work-life balance is important to me. Is that possible for consultants?

    TriFinance uses a system of flexible working hours so it’s easier for you to plan your day. We offer 20 legal holidays and 12 ADV/RTT-days to maintain a healthy work-life balance. In addition, you can aquire extra legal vacation days through our cafeteria plan.

  • What does the salary package at TriFinance look like?
