Your challenge
As a Treasury & Financial Markets Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients' Treasury and Capital Markets Operations.
With 2 to 5 years of experience, you bring operational and functional expertise to ensure the efficient execution of financial market transactions, while contributing to process improvement and regulatory compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Trade Support & Confirmation: ensure timely and accurate trade capture and confirmations for financial instruments such as Foreign Exchange, Money Markets, Equities, Bonds, and Derivatives; liaise with front office and counterparties to resolve breaks
• Payments, Clearing & Settlements: process payments linked to treasury transactions, follow up on settlements, investigate unmatched items, and support clearing activities
• Static Data Management: maintain and ensure the quality of static data used in transaction processing, contribute to automation initiatives
• Collateral Management: support margining processes (initial and variation), monitor collateral movements, manage margin calls, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
• Regulatory & Client Reporting: contribute to the preparation and validation of regulatory reports (EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR...), collaborate with compliance teams
• Cash Forecasting & Liquidity Management: support forecasting of cash flows and optimize liquidity planning
• Financial Risk Monitoring: track financial market developments to assess operational risk related to interest rates, forex, and counterparty exposure
Next to your project at the client, you will have the opportunity to further personally grow by fulfilling other roles within TriFinance itself:
• Community Growth: contribute to the development and expansion of the TriFinance Banking Operations Community, with a focus on Treasury & Financial Markets, while increasing your own expertise
• Leadership: depending on your experience and ambition, you may also be involved in mentoring other TriFinance consultants to support their growth
Your profile
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in Treasury and/or Financial Markets Operations, across activities such as trade support, clearing & settlement, collateral management, or reporting
• Knowledge: solid understanding of financial instruments (forex, money market, bonds, derivatives, …), and back- to middle-office key processes including clearing & settlement, collateral management, reconciliations, and compliance or business reporting
• Tools proficiency: familiarity with dedicated Financial Markets platforms such as Murex, Calypso, Summit, Sophis, T24, Olympic, and with reconciliation tools like FIS IntelliMatch or SmartStream is considered a strong asset
• Key attributes: structured & organized, analytical, focus on quality, eye for detail, pragmatic, stress resistant, problem solving skills, hands-on mindset, combined with a collaborative and professional attitude
• Languages: Fluency in English, Dutch and French
