To reinforce a friendly & experienced team in the Ekeren region, we are currently looking for an experienced (analytical) accountant. Colleagues here truly work together. Your challenge
In addition to 'classic' accounting duties, you will also be involved in analytical matters:
- Supporting budgeting and forecasts
- Managing and optimizing internal procedures
- Helping to develop reports for management
- Providing a supporting and advisory role for ad hoc projects
Furthermore, you are ultimately responsible for the accounting of various flows:
- Purely operational tasks (e.g., posting invoices & bank statements) are not part of your responsibilities
- You are, however, responsible for the balance sheet as well as the income statement
- The monthly and annual closes & consolidation fall under your responsibility
- Finally, periodic returns (VAT & Intrastat) are also included in your duties
Your profile
- As a true team player, you will feel right at home in this warm & supportive team
- You want to continue growing in analytical tasks & readily accept the expertise and help of your colleagues
- You have several years of experience (at least 5 years) in accounting & numbers hold no secrets for you
- VAT & corporate law do not intimidate you; in fact, you want to delve deeper into these areas
- Alongside Dutch, you also speak good English
