Power BI is one of the most popular business intelligence (BI) tools on the market today. This cloud-based tool can integrate different data sources, large data volumes, and create integrated reporting. It offers strong visuals and filtering, options for self-service BI, flexibility, control and integration with Office 365.
The Power BI training course widely accessible for professionals in many sectors looking to improve their analytic and reporting skills. It shows the differences with Excel, and teaches you how to master the new strengths.
This training is an introduction to the following topics:
- What and Why - Power BI
- How to Power BI
- DAX and data modeling
- Core visualizations in Power BI
- Power BI Service
- Excel integration
The training contains an integrated exercise that turns theory into practice.
At the end of the course, you can get started to build and share your first data models and reports in Power BI.
We can provide a virtual machine with all the required software and files. If you want to work with on your local machine make sure you have installed:
- Windows (Power BI does not run on Mac)
- Power BI Desktop (Required)
- Excel (Recommended)
- OneDrive (Recommended)
The training will be given in English unless you are all Dutch-speaking.
