At TriFinance, we put our intrinsically motivated employees first. Sustainable development is part of this intrinsic motivation. Not only do we want to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for employees, but also promoting well-being is at the core of our organization. Moreover, as a company we are convinced that social responsible entrepreneurship and a positive impact on the growth of people & planet are as important as the growth of profit.
The donation of 500 meals to the nonprofit Enchanté is a perfect illustration of how promoting the health and wellbeing of our employees and making a positive contribution to society come together. From May to September, our employees could collect points by exercising and choose to donate points in exchange for meals for school children.
From Fitcoins to meals for school children
Enchanté is a nonprofit organization that connects people where it feels right. With heartfelt initiatives, Enchanté strives for a society that truly lives. Where everyone belongs and cares for each other. One of the organization’s initiatives is Brooddoosnodig / Dans la boîte (‘Lunch box needed’). In an urban context, 1 in 4 children in Belgium goes to school hungry. By supporting schools, Enchanté wants to tackle this problem and ensure that no student has to sit in class hungry.
Fitcoins are digital savings points that TriFinance colleagues can earn by walking, running or cycling. With these points, employees can buy products in our TriFinance marketplace that will help to improve their fitness, participate in workshops about health and fitness, or they can donate points to charity. We are proud that thanks to the collective efforts of our employees, TriFinance was able to donate 500 meals for school children to Enchanté.
